FishBiteFish was born in a loft in the SOMA district of San Francisco, CA, in 2008.
Comprised of Desiree Rogers (vocals/lyrics), Gregg Dessen (guitar), Yevgeniy Sverdlik (bass), Marc Ruffolo (percussion), and Edwin Meares (drums), FishBiteFish plays an original and potent gumbo of funk, soul, latin, and blues.
FishBiteFish emerged from and have become a mainstay of the SOMA warehouse party scene, sharing many a late-night with partygoers of wide-ranging states of mind and dancing abilities...
Since mid-2009, FishBiteFish has played extensively throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, bringing soulful vibes and a propulsive energy that compels crowds to move.
In May 2010 FishBiteFish released a self-titled EP, showcasing a wide range of original grooves, words, and hooks by inspired and sympathetic musicians.
